Art Exhibit & Goodbye Celebration
Tomorrow night from 5-8 p.m.

Please join us for the annual RCS Art Exhibit, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
The Art Exhibit will be held 5-8 p.m. in the back hall by the gym. Each RCS student picked 2 pieces of artwork to display in the exhibit and will also have a clay piece as well. It is really exciting to see the students show off their creations!

We will also be saying good-bye to Mrs. VanderWerp who is retiring at the end of this year. The celebration for Mrs. VanderWerp is from 6 -7:15 p.m. and is outside in the parking lot turn around. Students will create ice cream sculptures.

Mel Trotter Food Bank Donations
We recently received a message from Mel Trotter Mission requesting our help. The food bank is extremely low right now, and they are concerned about the summer months when children will not be getting their breakfast and lunch through school programs. Blue Mel Trotter bins are available in the school lobby for your donations.

Teton News
Reserve your weekend grocery run for anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Saturday, May 15 at Ric's Food Center, 6767 Belding Road. Rockford Christian Middle School students will be serving up hot dogs and pop outside the front entrance to raise support for the summer science program. Hope to see you there!

Operation Squirrel
All week long, Operation Squirrel raffle tickets are being sold for 50 cents a piece. Prizes include a one-of-a-kind Operation Squirrel t-shirt (the only one that will ever be printed), a Teton hoodie sweatshirt, a squirrel WebKinz, and three trips into the tree! Look for the Operation Squirrel Post Office/Raffle ticket table. Also, Operation Squirrel postcards will be sold for 25 cents a piece, including a free lollipop. Students can ask questions or send messages into the tree by filling out a postcard and putting it in the box. A middle school student will deliver the box to the base of the tree each day where it will be hauled up via rope and pulley. All questions posed to the squirrel will be answered by the squirrel.

The Lost & Found is growing quite large! Parents please check the table in the front entry way for any items that might belong to your students.
