Family Time News
Thank you to Mr. Burgess
and Mark Kuiper for our annual Thanksgiving Family Time. We focused on having
an "attitude of gratitude" as we sang praises to our God and Savior
for His great faithfulness and listened to expressions of thankfulness from
some of our teachers.
Ask your student about
this Family Time.

On the days just prior to Thanksgiving break,
each of our grades will be participating in a Thanksgiving service project.
Classrooms will be participating in the following service opportunities:
- Kindergarten and first grade are visiting a senior citizens home to sing for the residents and to deliver muffins.
- Second grade is completing a project for Kids’ Food Basket with the money they made from the Pumpkin Patch.
- Third grade and Spanish immersion were planning to help clean up for winter at Camp Roger (weather-permitting).
- Fourth grade will be doing a project with a GRPS school in December.
- Fifth and sixth grades are working at a Mobile Food Pantry on Tuesday.
- Seventh grade is visiting an assisted living center on Monday.
- Eighth graders are delivering the boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We are grateful for the opportunity that our students have to impact the lives of others through a variety of local organizations.
