Prayer Request
I am sure you have heard what happened on Friday at Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Connecticut.  I hope you know that the Rockford Staff at RCS takes student safety very seriously.  We love the students!!  We cannot control the future, but we can pray for every student in every school around the world.  At RCS we will be keeping the families and town of Newtown, CT in our thoughts and prayers.  Also, in order to remember the victims of this horrific tragedy, RCS will be lowering its American flag to half-staff until further notice.

Come and celebrate the gift of our Savior and enjoy the community at RCS!

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them” (Luke 2: 4-7).
