Blog Update: December 17

Prayer Request
I am sure you have heard what happened on Friday at Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Connecticut.  I hope you know that the Rockford Staff at RCS takes student safety very seriously.  We love the students!!  We cannot control the future, but we can pray for every student in every school around the world.  At RCS we will be keeping the families and town of Newtown, CT in our thoughts and prayers.  Also, in order to remember the victims of this horrific tragedy, RCS will be lowering its American flag to half-staff until further notice.

Mrs. Oren went to visit her husband’s family in Israel.  Her dad, Mr. Neil Bierling, is a retired teacher and is teaching all this week.
