2010-2011 School Spelling Bee Champions! Our top three winners were Zach Terpstra and Jake Melton, 8th grade, and Gabby Brainard, 5th grade. For being our top champion, Zach received a free online language course of his choosing and a Craig's Cruisers gift card. Zach and Jake will move onto the Regional Bee scheduled for Tuesday, February 22. If you see these three champions in the hall, tell them, "Congratulations!" Thanks to all 24 contestants who participated!

Jan 4 was the beginning of the R.C.S. 2nd Division A Boys Invitational Basketball Tournament. This tournament concluded on Saturday and we are the champions my friends.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Balk family as they will soon be leaving us to head back to the mission field in the near future. Josiah, Gabe, and Naomi’s last day at RCS will be next Friday, Jan. 21.
