Environmental Program News for This Week
This is going to be another busy week in the 6th Grade Environmental Program.  On Wednesday the students will be going with the 7th graders and releasing the salmon that they raised since early-November into the Rogue River at the park just below the dam.  It will also be exciting since Michigan-Out-of Doors will be filming the whole process.  On Wednesday afternoon the students will be helping at Frederik Meijer Gardens as they get “down and dirty” while helping the horticulture staff with jobs around the beautiful area.  Finally, on Friday the students will be taking a tour of the Plainfield Water Treatment Plant and the Waste Water Facility.
As part of their Environmental Celebration evening, the 6th graders will be performing their “Joyful Noise” poems to parents and other students beginning this Thursday at 1:00.  These poems are unique in the fact that they are for two-voices.  You really need to hear these poems!

Family Time:
The Amani Children's Choir was at Family Time this morning. 20 middle school kids from Uganda blessed us with their singing and dancing. It was truly a treat to have them hear.  Wow!  these kids really know how to praise God and their enthusiasm showed it.  Thank you for coming!
I took a video of Family Time: I will put it on youtube soon.
