P.E. News
Don’t forget about gym shoes for P.E days.
We have two more weeks of volleyball
The younger kids will be working on underhand and overhand skills like rolling, throwing and volleyball serving.

The 6th grade Environmental Classroom would like to thank all the women who participated in the Scrapbooking Extravaganza--Women's Time-out this past weekend at Rockford Christian. A total of $508 was raised through this fundraising effort. Thank you for helping us raise these funds for our environmental learning opportunities to AuSable Institute, GVSU water research, and Sleeping Bear!!!

Earth Day Challenge
All RCS K-8 students are participating in the 2012 Earth Day Challenge sponsored by the Kent County Recycling Center. From March 1 -April 13, students are asked to bring "paperboard" boxes to school. These boxes would include cereal, cracker, granola bar, etc. type boxes. Please break these boxes down and flatten them out then place your donation in the large box in the RCS lobby. Please no cardboard juice or ice cream boxes since those items are not recyclable. Our school's goal is 3,000 boxes!!! Thanks for your help!!!
