This week at a glance:

We had a beautiful Family Time on Monday when the 6th graders along with Miss Barrett and Mr. VerMerris led us in praising and celebrating God's creation.  Mr. VerMerris told a wonderful and insightful story entitled "Tommy's Sailboat".  This story illustrated how much God loves each of us and how He cares for His creation.

We would love it if you could help us spread the word about our upcoming Benefit Concert on Saturday.

The Student Ministry at River Rock Church will be hosting a benefit concert to raise money for Christian Light Ministries and their work in Port au Prince Haiti.

Christian Light Ministries is working to build a school and to fund a new orphanage. The orphanage was destroyed in the earthquake in 2010. The children are currently living in the school, which is under construction!

The bands playing at the benefit will be:

Rock of Ages
Cameron Blake: http://www.cameronblakemusic.com/
David Parker (Baltimore, MD): http://www.myspace.com/dallenparker
Val Nebbia (Baltimore, MD): http://www.nebbiaband.com/Site/Home.html
Sherrie Fausey, the director of Christian Light in Haiti will also be joining us!

The cost is $5 at the door. We will also be selling baked goods and crafts. It's going to be a great night and we hope you will join us to support this great cause!

Thanks for all that you do for God’s kingdom!
Mr. Dave
