Blog Update - March 18

I hope that you had a great weekend!

Family Time
March 18 – Thanks to Rev. Compagner from Blythefield CRC for sharing about seeds and the Kingdom of God.  Ask your students about it.

March 25 – We will celebrate Good Friday and Easter at Family Time next week…led by Mr. Mark Kuiper, GRCHS chaplain.

Playground Safety
Please remind your students not to play between the building and the fences on the playground for safety reasons—we do not want snow or ice to fall on them.
Also, IF you would like to volunteer to be added to the recess duty schedule, please call the office and let Karla know: 616-574-6400.

Basketball Photos
If you took any RCS Basketball photos that maybe we can use for the yearbook, you can e-mail me at dworst@grcs.org.  Please specify what grade(s).

P.E. News
In P.E. we will be playing floor hockey for 2 weeks, then we will begin fitness-testing after spring break.  Happy Easter !

6th Grade Environmental News
The weather is wreaking havoc with our outdoor schedule.  Normally we are doing many spring activities outside by this time each year.  But that’s okay.  We’re not going to complain.  The weather just gives us more opportunity to learn about God with the snow on the ground and cold temperatures!!!  Spring officially arrives, however, at 7:02 a.m. on Wednesday morning.  This is called the vernal equinox.

Joyful Noise poem presentations at 2:30 on Friday in the Worship Center.
