Welcome back, Mrs. Radius! Hope you’re feeling better! We missed you.

A Note from Mr. Burgess

Dear RCS Family - We are THANKFUL for all of you and the opportunity we have each day to partner in the education and growth of your children at Rockford Christian School. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!!

Just a note of clarification about the December 10th Christmas Program and Live Nativity: The Elementary (K - 4th) Christmas Program will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 10. We would like the kids in their rooms by 6:15. The Live Nativity (8th graders) will begin at approx. 7:15 after the program.

Be sure to check the lost and found table in the front of school.

Geo Bee
classroom preliminary Geo Bee last Friday and turned in the results to Mrs. Oren who is gathering all the data from grades 4-8. on
Those advancing should use the Thanksgiving break to prepare for the final event on Dec. 4.

Operation Christmas Child
Two hundred twenty six (226) boxes were packed for Operation Christmas Child! Thanks, RCS!

Hot Lunch this week

Monday, Nov 30
1 Hot dog on bun, baked beans, fresh broccoli/cauliflower with ranch, fresh apple slices
2 Nacho bag
Please remind your children that, if they order hot lunch, they must pick up the item they ordered. We do not want to waste food, and we need to keep accurate counts so that what is ordered in the morning is available at lunch.

Learning Commons News
Scholastic Book Fair is coming! Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 1-4 in the front lobby! Brochures have been sent home with students. Each class will have time next week to make their “wish lists” at the book fair. Hopefully these lists will help everyone with book selection. Books always are great Christmas gifts!
If you would like to help out at the Book Fair, please let us know. We’d love to have a few parent helpers.
