Blog update 10/24

I hope that you all enjoyed the day yesterday; it was beautiful out!

I went to the dentist last week for 2 hours and got my teeth fixed temporarily. I have to get my front teeth pulled Nov. 3 and, then, fix it permanently after it heals up for several weeks.

This Week at a Glance

The fourth and fifth graders of RCS will be having school at John Ball Zoo this week.

This Zoo Lab is a new endeavor. The students will have a variety of experiences.
Each day will focus on a different theme, such as habitat, food webs, adaptations, classification, and human/animal interactions.

They will go behind-the-scenes to feed some of the animals.
They will observe an animal one hour a day for each of the five days.

The theme of the week is "Know the facts; discover the mystery."

Pray for dry weather for them and for safety and learning in all they do.

P.E.

We are done with all the fitness tests!!
One more week of Soccer.

Bike-a-Thon News

Our Celebration will be held at the end of the day this Friday, October 28, from 2:40-3:10 p.m. in the Worship Center.

Live By the Spirit

The fruit of the Spirit is "Faithfulness" this month.
Galatians 5:22-25

Another passage about "Faithfulness" is
Genesis 32:10
"I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness you have shown your servant. I had only my staff when I crossed this Jordan, but now I have become two camps."
