Blog Update November 5

I hope that you had a great weekend!

Please pray
for all those along the east coast of the United States recovering from Hurricane Sandy

Thanks again for your support of the 8th grade sub sale!

Scholastic Book Fair will be held the week after Thanksgiving, Nov. 26 – 30.  Books make great Christmas presents!  Proceeds from the sale will benefit the library at RCS. FYI: There will also be an online purchasing opportunity beginning November 23.

TRIP news
Shop ahead for the holidays!  TRIP is available every Tuesday morning at RCS.

Ski Club
Snow will be falling before you know it!! One of the BEST ways to have fun all winter long is to head over to CANNONSBURG for some skiing or boarding. RCS will once again be forming a Ski & Board Club. We had a great time last year meeting twice a week to try and accommodate multiple schedules. And, we always had a cooler full of free Gatorade for thirsty students. This year, we would love to have 3 different themed nights: 1) Cookies and hot chocolate 2) Nachos and cheese 3) Hot dogs and chips! We will start meeting right after Christmas break, and continuing through the month of February.

CANNONSBURG gives out special student rates when purchased in advance through our club. Parents- you too can get a reduced rate!! (These are still the same prices as last year!!!)

Purchase your card now through our RCS club. All forms & checks due into the main office by November 16. Lord willing, their tentative opening date is Thanksgiving Day.

Feed our Gator!
Help us double our Paper Gator earnings during the month of November by "feeding" it extra from November 1-22. Money earned from the Paper Gator helps support the environmental programs at RCS. Thank you for your support!
