6th Grade Environmental News
Last Friday the Environmental Classroom students enjoyed a wonderful morning testing the water of Lake Michigan and Spring/Muskegon Lakes.  They were aboard the GVSU water research vessels.  It was a great learning experience.
This Friday, the EC students will be going to Luton Park and picking garlic mustard which is an invasive species of plant that is growing like crazy in our woods.  Our goal is to fill 51 large garbage bags with garlic mustard plants.

Prayer Requests
We wish Miss Jasperse well in the future as Friday, May 3, was her last day as Mrs.VanStright’s student teacher.

Please pray for the Grandville Christian and Calvin Christian School communities.  Their band director, Mr. Jeff Looman, was killed on Sunday in a biking accident.  He was a well loved and respected band teacher.  Also, pray for the West Side Christian community, Mr. Looman’s wife teaches at WSC.

Thanks for all that you do for God’s kingdom!
Mr. Dave
