Spring Safety
Awareness Week
We had a Fire Drill this morning. Two other drills are
scheduled this week.
Learning Commons
News For the next three weeks, 1st – 7th graders will
be taking MAPS assessments in the computer lab. This is the final testing of
the year and will demonstrate how much your student has learned and grown in
the areas of math, reading comprehension and language usage. Please send your
child to school relaxed, well-rested, and with a good breakfast so they can do
their best!

Boys and Girls spring sports are going strong. We
continue to battle the two W’s--weather and wet fields. Check http://www.graceac.com/

P.E. News
It’s time for
spring fitness testing in P.E. Over the next few weeks, the kids will be
doing the mile run, sit & reach, sit-ups, pull-ups and shuttle run
tests. It is my hope that the kids will show improvement compared to
their fall scores.
6th Grade
Environmental News
The sixth grade Environmental Classroom students will be
at their God’s Green Acre on Wednesday.
On Friday they will be working on Grand Valley State University’s water
research vessels that are based out of Spring Lake and Muskegon Lake. They will be collecting and testing water
samples in order to determine the health of Lake Michigan
