Blog Update January 5, 2015

Happy New Year R.C.S. family! May 2015 be a VERY blessed year!

Something new I’m trying
If your student at Rockford Christian School would like to make a project,  I will take a photo of it and I will put it on the RCS monitors.  The other choice is for you to take the picture and send it to me at DWorst@GRCS.ORG. Please make all projects snow related.

The cold weather is here, so dress for the weather!
Please be sure to wash your hands, and keep your kids home if they are sick.

Winter Weather Reminders
Just a reminder that we do go outside for recess during the winter months. Please be sure that your child arrives to school prepared with adequate outdoor dress (coats, boots, snowpants, mittens/gloves, hats, etc.) Thank you!

Learning Commons News
We will be practicing for the Spelling Bee in January. If you are signed up for the Spelling Bee, look for announcements regarding the practices. These are voluntary for anyone who wants to sharpen their spelling skills.

Spelling Bee
We will be holding the Spelling Bee (4th-8th grade) on Friday, January 9, in the Worship Center from 1:45-3:00.    Students that sign up for the Bee can take a practice paper of words that will be used in the Spelling Bee.  There is an optional practice session for the Bee on Wednesday, 01/07, from 8:00-8:25 a.m. in Mrs. Oren's room.
