6th Environmental Classroom news for this week
This is an exciting week this week in the Environmental Program but let’s start with last Friday, May 6. On that date we went to the Annis Water Research Institute in Muskegon. We boarded the 65’ WG Jackson research vessel by GVSU. We spent two hours testing/learning out the water in Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan. Another great thing about the trip was that I went along with then!!!
This week the 6th graders presented their Joyful Noise poems on Monday. They did a fantastic job. Tonight they will be giving a short concert and then displaying their Environmental Action Project. They a did a wonderful job on those EAPs. Tomorrow they are headed to Frederik Meijer Gardens to help in the afternoon. On Friday morning they will be heading to Camp Roger for one of the last times this year.
