RCS is a Peanut Free CampusAs we have begun another school year, it is important to remember that RCS is a "peanut-free" campus. We have been "peanut-free" for a number of years now because of the very severe allergies that some of our students live with. We are proud to be a community that is sensitive to the needs of our students. Thank you to all of our parents and students for being sensitive to this policy and for not sending any food items with peanuts in them to school. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the school office: 616-574-6400.Hearing and Vision Screening will take place October 21-23.PK and grades K, 2, and 4 will have hearing screening. PK and grades 1, 3, 5, and 7 will have vision screening. If you have a vision or hearing concern for your student and they are not being screened for that this year, please contact the office and we can include them in that particular screening.Box Tops for EducationWe continue to collect Box Tops for Education. Funds received from this program are used by our 5th grade classroom for their end-of-year events.Have You Noticed the New Playground Equipment? Thanks to the generosity of the participants at our Spring Auction, we were able to purchase four new pieces of playground equipment.
